My husband and I have been going to Charles Town for about 10 years now and we will never go back. Go somewhere where you can atleast have some fun. The Skyline buffet is pretty good (not great, but good). At Charles Town, playing the same denomination slots, our money lasted us 2 hours. We won $600, $500, $400, and several $100 hits while we were there. We just returned from 4 nights in the Atlantis, and boy what a difference!! The Atlantis slot machines were brand new, and gave you ALOT of action for your money. Now we never lose more then what we can afford, and I am certainly not a 'disgruntled gambler'.I just hate to see the average person go for a night of fun and drop lots of money in no time at all. Its not just me who thinks this, its every customer in there, every customer on Tripadvisor, and every customer on any other message board on the internet. The other times you would win some/lose some, but usually get to play a while on your budget. Back in the day, meaning 4 years ago or so, you could go two nights a month or so, and hit a jackpot maybe three or four times in a year. It is just silly to see how tight the slots have gotten. We have been going here for several years (maybe about 10 or so).
